Trade Me Christchurch

New Christchurch offices for a longstanding client; HMOA has previously worked with Trade Me on award-winning interior fit-outs for Trade Me, Auckland and Trade Me, Wellington.

The approach was to work with the curvilinear nature of the building's facade and create two curved volumes that cling to the edges of the space. The centre is left open for flexible workspaces. The 'volumes' are clad in vertical ply battens and coloured panels.

Collaborative meeting rooms and breakout spaces are also provided to suit Trade Me’s distinctive culture.

A ‘quiet room’ accommodates new mothers, providing a comfortable space to retreat, express or feed their babies.
